Consistently and regularly communicating your brand, services, growth, and events is essential to the survival of any company and organization. These typically take the form of drip e-mail campaigns, website content, newsletters, brochures, blogs as well as specific materials for trade shows and conventions. My extensive communications and public relations experience includes copy writing, graphic design and layout, e-mail campaigns, video script writing, blog posts, speech writing, and anything else involving the written word.
Media Outreach
At the core of an effective communications strategy is navigating today’s media. Crafting an effective message is only part of the equation. Understanding who and how to communicate is what I’ve done for thirty-five years a the national level. From writing press releases and placing op-eds, to staging press conferences, preparing executives for public appearances, creating messages, and conducting follow-up, I’ve been involved in nearly every aspect of media relations since the 1980s, including spending seven years at four different public relations agencies.
